This is a no reserve penny auction for a Mossberg Model 44US-D bolt action rifle in .22 LR. Serial number- none. This Model 44 is in Good Condition for its age with an excellent bore. Features a 26" barrel, a Mossberg S-130 Rear Peep Sight, and a front sight assembly that offers (4) choices of front sight. The Mossberg Model 44 was a US military training rifle made during and after World War II.

Please note, this rifle does not come with a magazine. "R.W." has been affixed to the grip cap. The Peep Sight has left a minor groove in the stock where it meets from the receiver. There is rust and pitting on the exterior of the metal surfaces. This rifle has minor finish wear consistent with age and use. Please see the photos to assess the condition of the rifle for yourself
