The bore has sharp, distinct lands all the way down, with a bright mirror finish! All visible serial numbers are matching, except for the top cover. It has some nice upgrades, including a rear peep sight, 20-round magazine, and a railed top hand-guard. The SKS Type 56 is a Chinese manufactured version of the original soviet SKS.
