Otis A. Smith Model 1887 – .38 S&W – DA/SA Break Action Pocket Revolver

This is a no-reserve penny auction for an Otis A. Smith Model 1887 break-action revolver in .38 S&W. Serial number- 26131. This revolver is in average condition for its age with a fair bore that has visible lands and grooves with minor frosting and pitting present. The double-action pull does not engage and rotate the cylinder and single-action is not possible due to the fact that the hammer spur was cut off to reduce snagging when concealed carrying. When the trigger is pulled, the cylinder does not rotate, so the lock-up is still good.
