RARE PRE-WAR Winchester Model 70 Super Grade – .22 Hornet – MFG 1940

This is a no reserve penny auction for a Pre-War Winchester Model 70 Super Grade bolt-action rifle in .22 Hornet. Serial number – 24625. This rifle is in great condition for its age with an excellent bore. After running a serial number lookup, we believe it was manufactured in 1940. This Super Grade features a fancy checkered walnut Monte Carlo stock, "Super Grade" stamped hinged floorplate, a recessed target crown, metal butt-plate, and inletted sling swivel studs. Serial numbers are matching on the bolt and receiver. A vintage Weaver K10 riflescope is mounted on Redfield bases.
