Remington M1891 Mosin Nagant – 7.62x54r – Hex Receiver – 1917 – M91/30

This is a no reserve penny auction for a Remington M1891 Mosin Nagant bolt-action rifle in 7.62x54r. serial number – 535629. This American made Mosin has a hex receiver, and is in good condition. Unfortunately, it's been cut down and has a split on the wrist. please review photos for exact condition. During World War I Russia could not keep up with Mosin production, and they were suffering horrendous losses at the front. So, in 1915, the Tsar’s emissary ordered a million and a half M1891 Mosin Nagants from Remington. Compared to Soviet production rifles, the fit and finish of the Remington Mosins were far superior.
