This M1903 is in great condition for its age with an excellent bore and includes a GI sling! The 03-A3, formally known as the Springfield M1903, is an American five-round magazine-fed, bolt-action service repeating rifle, and was an upgraded version of the M1903. It replaced the famous M1903 that was the standard-issue infantry rifle during World War One and played a more specialized role during World War Two when the M1 Garand was adopted by the US military. Today, it remains popular as a civilian firearm, historical collector's piece, a competitive shooting rifle, and as a military drill rifle. This rifle was originally inspected by an officer via the FJA stamp on the stock and has a 8/43 dated Remington barrel.
