This is a no reserve penny auction for a Remington Sportsman 48 semi-automatic shotgun in 12 gauge. Serial number- 3031073. Manufactured in 1950, this shotgun is in great condition for its age and features a 27-inch barrel that originally had a fixed FULL choke and a 2 3/4" chamber and now has a poly choke equipped to the muzzle. Remington's first gas operated, autoloading shotgun Without the Browning-type recoiling action. Please note that there is some slight finish wear throughout this shotgun.
