This is a no reserve penny auction for a Ruger M77 bolt-action rifle in .30-06 sprg. Serial number- 75-64171. This M77 is in good condition and comes with a sling! It was manufactured in 1981. This is a first-generation M77, as it features the tang safety rather than three-position safety and the red butt pad. When Strum, Ruger & Company first introduced the Ruger M77 it was initially met with less than enthusiastic fanfare, at least among firearms experts. So how is it that over 50 years later the M77 has become one of the most iconic American bolt-action rifles.
