This is a no reserve penny auction for a Smith & Wesson 1903 Hand Ejector revolver in .32 S&W Long. Serial number- 180041. This 1903 is in good condition and functions with great timing and lock up! The bore is in good condition, with sharp, distinct lands, and a shiny bore all the way down. Please Note: there is a chip off the bottom of the right grip plastic. Please review photos for exact condition, and to fully appreciate! The Model of 1896—which would later be known as the .32 Hand Ejector First Model—was made for only seven years. It was not a big success on the civilian market, but a few major police departments, including Philadelphia’s, adopted the model as a service revolver. In 1903, the Second Model was introduced, along with several design improvements. The .32 Hand Ejector Model of 1903 remained in production until 1917, with a series of five changes over that time period.
