Smith & Wesson 28-2 Highway Patrolman – .357 Mag – S&W 28 Pinned & Recessed

This is a no reserve penny auction for a Smith & Wesson 28-2 Highway Patrolman double-action revolver in .357 Magnum. Serial number – N86976. This revolver is in good condition with an excellent bore. Lockup is tight and timing on. It features factory wooden grips, pinned barrel, and recessed cylinder. The Model 28, also known as the Highway Patrolman, traces its heritage back to the Smith & Wesson Registered Magnum. The Registered Magnum morphed into the 357 Magnum (first production model completed April 8, 1935). The Model 27 & 28 have featured in a number of movies including Patton, The Godfather, Fargo, Police Academy, and Bad Boys. Please see all the photos to see the exact condition.
