This revolver is in great condition and features hardwood grips adjustable rear sights and is a pre lock model! Please refer to photos as to the condition of this revolver. The Model 28, also known as the Highway Patrolman, traces its heritage back to the Smith & Wesson Registered Magnum. The Registered Magnum morphed into the 357 Magnum (first production model completed April 8, 1935). The Model 27 & 28 have featured in a number of movies including Patton, The Godfather, Fargo, Police Academy, and Bad Boys.
