It features a hi-viz front sight, adjustable rear sights, and custom finger groove wood grips. The Smith & Wesson Model 586, is a six-shot double-action revolver with a carbon steel construction and blued finish; it is essentially the same firearm as the Model 686, which has a stainless steel construction. It is also known as the Distinguished Combat Magnum.
