Stevens Savage 311A – 16ga – 2-3/4IN – Case Hardened – Double Trigger 311 A

This is a no reserve penny auction for a Stevens 311A side-by-side shotgun in 16ga accepting 2-3/4" shells. This shotgun does not have a serial number and is in good condition with excellent bores. Blued and Case- Hardened color. It has extractors; a front trigger LOP of 14.5"; and a back trigger LOP of 13.5". It features FULL and MOD fixed chokes. The Stevens 311 is a double-barrel shotgun that was manufactured by the J. Stevens Arms Company. It is a break-action shotgun that features two side-by-side barrels and is considered a "utility" gun. It was available in several different gauges. The 311 has a simple design and is known for its durability and reliability. It was a popular shotgun for hunting and sport shooting, and many examples are still in use today. 16-gauge shotguns are usually a little bit lighter than 12-gauge shotguns, the shell holds less powder so it won't have as much recoil as a 12-gauge.
