This is a no reserve penny auction for a Saturn Gun Works Remington Model 721 bolt-action rifle in .300 ICL Grizzly. Serial number- 285193. This rifle is in great condition with a smooth action and a fantastic bore! It includes a leather sling and a muzzle brake. The .300 ICL Grizzly' is based on the .300 H&H Magnum (ICL stands for Increased Case Load), and is a rare hunting wildcat cartridge developed by Arnold & Vern Juenke, gunsmiths who owned Saturn Gun Works in Reno, Nevada. ICL cartridges feature a 45 degree shoulder with sides that are straightened out compared to the parent cartridge. The Model Remington 721 is considered to be one of the first modern, economically produced sporting rifles whose design largely continued with the subsequent and highly successful Model 700. Manufactured with high precision, it is known for its exceptional accuracy. The bolt and receiver design, based on the Mauser action, is considered one of the strongest ever produced.
