This is a no reserve penny auction for a Weatherby Mark V bolt-action rifle in .340 WBY Mag. Serial number – SB003286. This rifle is in great condition with an excellent bore. According to Weatherby's website, this rifle was manufactured between 1994-2002. This Mark V features a 26" barrel, a synthetic stock, and Weatherby's Magnum Action 9-Lug bolt. Introduced by Roy Weatherby in 1958, the Mark V action was designed to be the strongest action in the world. Roy wanted to create a high-quality, accurate, and powerful rifle for hunting that could handle his high-velocity cartridges. This rifle has minor finish wear and discoloring commensurate with use.
