This is a no reserve penny auction for a Winchester Model 1873 lever-action rifle in .44-40 WCF. Serial number – 115006A. This rifle was manufactured in 1898, and features a 20" barrel and a saddle ring. It has beautiful wood and blued metal, that appears to be refinished. It functions exactly as it should, with a crisp, solid action. Please refer to the photos for exact condition, as this rifle is in fantastic condition for its age! The bore is great for being 127 years old. It has distinct, sharp lands and minor pitting.
