The Winchester Model 1895 Musket is a distinctive military variant of John Moses Browning’s last lever-action rifle design for Winchester, blending classic American engineering with turn-of-the-century martial requirements. Introduced in the late 1890s, the 1895 departed from traditional tubular-magazine lever guns by using a box magazine, allowing it to safely fire modern spitzer (pointed) cartridges. The musket version was built to military specifications, featuring a full-length stock with handguard, extended barrel, and long sight radius, often paired with a bayonet lug for service use.
Please refer to the photos as a few hairline cracks are seen on the stock wrist and forend. Also, half of the front sling swivel has broken off.
