Winchester Model 21 Skeet – 20 Gauge – Leather Hard Case – 28in – MFG 1938

This is a no reserve penny auction for a Winchester Model 21 Skeet SxS double-barrel shotgun in 20 Gauge. Serial number – 14510. A serial number search shows a manufacture year of 1938! This SxS skeet shotgun is in amazing condition for being 87 Years old! Both bores are in excellent condition!

Length of pull is 13 1/2", 2 3/4" chamber, 28" barrels, and fixed chokes. We are unable to determine the chokes, please review the photos for specific markings. The Skeet grade is a higher grade tournament gun with higher quality wood and stock made to a customer's dimensions. With the design and production promoted by John M. Olin, the Model 21 was one of Winchester’s finest shotguns with regards to quality, reliability, and strength. Although technically a production gun, each example was custom-made in terms of configuration, workmanship, quality, and attention to detail. The Model 21 was Winchester's effort to make a quality side by side shotgun to rival those of high-end makers such as Parker and Fox. The Model 21 has a considerable collectors following as it is regarded as almost a custom-made shotgun.
