This is a no reserve penny auction for a Winchester Model 70 bolt-action rifle in 264 Win Magnum. Serial number – 762390. Manufactured in 1965. This rifle is in great condition with a good bore, and features a Monte-Carlo style triple diamond stock. The Winchester Model 70 was not just one of the best and most practical bolt action rifles ever created: it became a cultural icon earning the moniker "The Rifleman's Rifle"! The Winchester Model 70 entered production in 1936 with the first shipments to dealers happening in 1937. It was an improved version of the Model 54 and boasted an improved, gold, single-stage trigger, while the impeccable feeding and extraction/ejection was something that helped make it an instant hit.
