Winchester Model 74 – .22 LR – Mfg. 1950 – Tube Fed Semi Auto Plinker

This is a no reserve penny auction for a Winchester Model 74 semi automatic rifle in .22 long rifle. Serial number- 266525A. This Model 74 is in fair condition and was manufactured in 1950. Introduced in 1939, the Winchester Model 74 is an intriguing self-loading rimfire. The receiver is built on an 8.5-inch-long steel tube. An inch in diameter, the tubular receiver houses a simple blowback-operated bolt and is fed by a tubular magazine housed in the buttstock.

Please NOTE the end of the barrel appears to have been threaded. Please also NOTE the magazine tube spring is bent.
