This is a no reserve penny auction for a WWI Era Colt 1911 magazine. It features a two-tone finish, lanyard loop, and a pinned magazine base. It is a 7-round .45 ACP magazine and fits most Model 1911s although it should be matched up with an early 1911 Model.

These magazines are quite rare and are an early version of the Legendary Model 1911 magazine. They are desirable since US military stopped making lanyard loop magazines during WWI and many were later lost or replaced with more traditional magazines. They match very well with very collectible WWI and Pre-WWI 1911s.
