Up for sale is a Carcano Model 91 Sporterized bolt action rifle in 6.52x52mm. Serial number- AF3043. This rifle has been sporterized, having part of its forestock and the top of the handguard removed exposing the front end of the barrel. The front sight post appears to have been painted and the bolt is missing. This rifle does not come with a magazine. The Carcano was the standard issue rifle of the Italian military through the beginning of the 20th century. It is most famous/infamous for being the rifle used to assassinate President John F. Kennedy.
