Up for grabs is a Colt Officers Model Special six shot double action revolver in .38 special CTG with a 6 inch barrel. Serial number- 784521. Manufactured in 1950 this Officers Special is in good condition and comes with flared wooden grips and a Coltmaster adjustable rear sight. This revolver sometimes referred to as the Officers Model Fourth Issue was manufactured from 1949 to 1952 when it was replaced by the Officers Model Match (Officers Model Fifth Issue) which was built from 1953 to 1969. Differs from its successor in using a heavy, non tapered barrel while the next series used a heavy tapered barrel.
