For sale is a Marlin Golden 39A Mountie lever-action rifle in .22 S/L/LR . Serial number- 68110222. This 39A Mountie is in fair condition with a 20.5 inch micro groove barrel with an excellent bore. It also features ready to use sling swivels and a "JM " stamp on the barrel showing it was manufactured by the original Marlin team. The Golden Mountie Model 39A was introduced in 1954. The Marlin 39A represents the oldest and longest continuously produced shoulder firearm in the world. The Golden 39A has a full-length steel tubular magazine under the barrel with a brass inner tube and a hammer block safety. The Golden 39A is still considered one of the finest examples of a lever .22 rifle, and one of the most accurate .22 rifles ever produced. It is also the best-selling lever rimfire in U.S. history.
