For sale is a Norinco Chinese Security Forces SKS Type 56 semi automatic rifle in 7.62x39mm. Serial number- 1706003. We believe this SKS was manufactured in 1972. This SKS is in great condition and comes with a bipod. This particular SKS Type 56 has the rarely seen "Security Forces" stamp on the right side of the receiver, this stamp shows that this rifle was manufactured specifically for use by the National Public Security Forces. The Chinese Security Forces evidently are similar to the secret police. There were only a very small number of these ever imported. This SKS features matching serial numbers throughout the rifle. Has the factory stamp indicating it was manufactured by the /416 factory and a "KFS ATL GA" stamp showing it was imported by Kengs Firearms Specialties. The SKS Type 56 is a Chinese manufactured version of the original soviet SKS. It has a fixed, non-detachable 10-round magazine, wood stock, and manual safety. The SKS is still serving strong around the world and in the homes of American collectors.
