For sale is a Remington Model 550-1 semi-automatic rifle in .22 S/L/LR. Serial number-1329791. This rifle is in good condition and features a tubular magazine and open sights. The date code "AU" on the barrel leads us to believe that this rifle was manufactured in 1971. The Remington 550-1, at the time of making, was overbuilt in comparison to today’s standards. It has a blow-back action and a unique floating chamber. It can feed and cycle all kinds of .22 caliber rounds, including sub sonics.
