Up for sale is a Smith & Wesson 28-2 Highway Patrolman double-action revolver in .357 Mag. Serial number – N111770. This revolver is in great condition but please note it appears a previous owner painted the front sight red. It comes with the original box, manual, and other paperwork. The Model 28, also known as the Highway Patrolman, traces its heritage back to the Smith & Wesson Registered Magnum. The Registered Magnum morphed into the 357 Magnum (first production model completed April 8, 1935). The Model 27 & 28 have featured in a number of movies including Patton, The Godfather, Beverly Hills Cop, and Bad Boys.
