Up for grabs is a Stevens Model 70 Visible Loading Repeater pump action rifle in .22 LR. Serial number- W267. This Stevens is in good condition but please note the crack in the stock as seen in the pictures. In 1908, the J Stevens Arms and Tool Co. of Chicopee Falls, Mass., brought out a novel pump-action .22 rifle that was marked on the barrel, "Visible Loading Repeater." It was cataloged as the "‘Visible loading Repeater’ No. 70," and continued in the line in .22 Shot/Long/LR or .22 Short only (Model 70) versions through the companies name change in 1916 (J. Stevens Arms Co.).
