The Black Talon from Winchester is surrounded by a lot of controversy and is considered to be something of a collectors item today. The Projectile is a 250 grain SXT hollow point, the black color comes from the special oxidation coating still used by Winchester today in their PDX line, it is loaded into a nickel plated brass case to improve feeding and extraction and uses boxer primers which are non-corrosive.
