For sale is a Winchester Model 24 Coach Gun side-by-side shotgun in 12ga. Serial number- 45787. MFG Dated 1947. This shotgun is in good condition but clearly in used condition. Comes equipped with a leather butt pad. The wood does not appear damaged underneath the butt pad. The 20 inch barrels feature 2 3/4 inch chambers with Fixed Full and Modified Chokes. Winchester introduced the Model 24 in 1939 just before WWII. It was meant to compete with the Stevens 311 as an affordable field shotgun. Almost all Winchester Model 24s were field models with no bells and whistles, however, this has deluxe checkered furniture. We are unsure if the checkering was done at the factory or aftermarket. This is an opportunity to purchase a gun that could be added to a Winchester collection or a reliable robust shotgun that will last a lifetime.
