For sale is a Winchester Model 70 bolt action in 30-06 SPRG. Serial number- 21197. This rifle includes 1" scope rings mounted atop Redfield scope bases. After running a serial number lookup, we believe the receiver was manufactured in 1939, but it appears that the rifle has been re-barreled. The Winchester Model 70 is a bolt-action sporting rifle. It has an iconic place in American sporting culture and has been held in high regard by shooters since it was introduced in 1936, earning the moniker "The Rifleman's Rifle". Please refer to the photos as there is minor rust present on the scope rings, and the front scope ring can be freely moved in the dovetail base.
