Post World War II, a Cold War ensued after and would last several decades to see who would emerge victorious: Communists or Democracies. With that, a race to innovate within each re-spective nation including firearms. With The United States’ M16 rifle or the Soviet Union’s AK-47 just to name a couple, each represented a clear distinction between both sides.
