For sale is an American Gun Co. double-hammer side by side shotgun in 12 gauge. No serial number. This shotgun features 23" barrels. "American Gun Co. New York" is stamped on the left side of the receiver. Choke size is unknown. Please see photos for exact condition, as this shotgun has heavy use-wear and rust. Originally manufactured by Crescent Firearms Company in the early 1900s. American Gun Company of New York was a trading name used on shotguns manufactured by Crescent Fire Arms Company of Norwich, CT. We also recommend taking this to a gunsmith if you want to use it to identify chamber size and if it is safe to fire.
