For sale is a Brazilian Mauser Model 1908 bolt-action rifle in 7×57 Mauser. Serial number- 3047. This rifle is in great condition. The Brazilian crest is located on the receiver and appears to be faded. It is not known if the receiver has been refinished. The serial numbers on this rifle do not match, and mix/match all over the firearm. The Mauser Model 1908 was series of Gewehr 98 pattern bolt-action rifles. First produced by Deutsche Waffen und Munitionsfabriken (DWM) and Mauser, they were exported to Uruguay and Brazil. The Model 1908 rifle was a copy of the Mauser Gewehr 98, chambered in 7×57mm Mauser and with a simple tangent-leaf sight and a longer upper hand-guard.
