For sale is a smoothbore British Enfield Model 1858 Tower percussion carbine in 65 ball. Serial number- N/A. This carbine has seen better days, as there is rust on the barrel and the wood has scars and holes (See in photos) Some of the stamps are visible on the barrel receiver and the top of the buttstock. This rifle might make a good restoration project or as a wall hanger. We do not recommend firing this rifle without a gunsmith inspection.





The British Enfield Model 1858 Tower was used in large numbers across the British Empire and even Confederate soldiers during the Civil War! The Confederates did not have the Springfield factory that the Union possessed and were forced to purchase rifles from the British Empire.
