For sale is a Colt 1911 Government Model MKIV Series 70 semi-automatic pistol in .38 Super. Serial number – 70S30976. Mfg. dated: 1979. This pistol is in excellent overall condition and comes with the original box, manual/paperwork, and a 9-round magazine. The grip panels, rear sight, trigger, hammer, thumb safety, and back strap were upgraded/installed but all the original parts come with the pistol. . The Colt MK IV Series 70 was an improvement over the M1911A1 by redesigning the barrel bushing to grip the barrel and give the production gun much-improved accuracy.
