For sale is an Intratec Tec-9 semi-automatic pistol in 9mm. Serial number- 55949. This pistol is in good condition with some scratches on the receiver ahead of the charging handle. This is a closed bolt pre-ban variant! This Tec-9 comes with what we believe is a 20-round magazine. The Swedish company Interdynamic AB of Stockholm designed the Interdynamic MP-9 9mm submachine gun. Without a government buyer, Intratec imported the weapon to sell on the civilian market. It became popular in movies and television in the US such as Miami Vice. The Tec-9 and its many variants demonized as they were used in some high-profile shootings such as the Columbine High School shooting. They were specifically named in the 1994 assault rifles ban. This is a pre-ban Tec-9 as the pistol received a redesign after the ban was placed on it.
