For sale is a La Coruna FR8 bolt-action rifle in .308/7.62 NATO. Serial number – FR8-47826. This rifle is in good condition and comes with a Spanish bayonet. The receiver dates this rifle's production to 1955. The FR7 & FR8 were bolt-action rifles developed by Spain after World War II. The Spanish were already adopting an automatic rifle by the time the FR8 came out, however, there were not enough rifles to arm every Spanish soldier. To tackle this problem the Spanish developed the FR7 & FR8 using the stockpiles of Mauser actions already in their inventory and converting the barrel to .308/7.62 NATO. The FR8 is a lightweight Mauser System 98 bolt action rifle.
