This 781 is in good condition and features a JM stamp on the barrel indicating it was manufactured by the original Marlin team. Marlin Firearms Company introduced the model 781 bolt action rimfire rifle in 1971, replacing the model 81C, and produced it for 18 years, until 1988, when they introduced its replacement with the model 881. The model 781 rifle features a 22" micro groove barrel, tubular magazine, checkered pistol grip walnut stock and quality sights consisting of an adjustable rear and ramp front with hood.
