For sale is a Russian Captured Mauser 98K bolt-action rifle in 8mm Mauser. Serial number- 2579. This 98K is in excellent condition and features a shiny bore and a smooth action. From our research, original K98's were not numbered on the stock. When the Russians captured 98K's, they disassembled and refinished the rifles and often mixed up parts with other rifles hence why the magazine, end plate, and forearm have varying serial numbers. This rifle is an interesting piece of history picked from the Germans' "Operation Barbarossa" during the Second World War to invade the Soviet Union!
