For sale is a Norinco MAK-90 Sporter semi-automatic rifle in 7.62x39mm. Serial number- 67284. This AK is in good condition with an excellent bore. Comes with a 30-round mag. All visible serial numbers appear to be matching. The receiver on this rifle is slant cut. The Norinco MAK-90 Sporter was imported into the United States from 1990 to 1994, when a federal ban on the importation of certain types of firearms went into effect. It is now considered to be a collectible rifle by many firearms enthusiasts. The "MAK" in the name stands for "Modified AK" and the "90" indicates that it was first imported into the United States in 1990. The "Sporter" designation refers to the fact that the rifle was modified for the civilian market and lacked some of the features of the military version of the AK-47, such as a bayonet lug or a threaded barrel.
