For sale is a Remington Model 11-48 semi automatic shotgun in 12 gauge. Serial number- 5167329. This 11-48 is in good condition and features a 30" barrel with a ventilated rib and a full choke chambered for 2 3/4" or shorter shells. The 11-48 is a long-recoil operated semi-automatic shotgun based on the Model 11, itself based on an 1898 design by John Browning. The 11-48 differs from the Model 11 in the shape of its machined steel receiver and the use of cheaper stamped steel internal parts.
