For sale is a Remington Model 31 pump action shotgun in 12 gauge. Serial number- 7329. Manufactured in 1933. This Model 31 features a 26" barrel with a fixed full choke and fitted with a poly choke. The Model 31 was Remington's first side ejecting pump-action shotgun. Produced from 1931 to 1949, The Remington Model 31 is a pump-action shotgun that competed with the Winchester Model 1912 for the American sporting arms market. It was eventually replaced by the less expensive to manufacture Model 870 in 1950. The Model 31 was later used as a basis for the Mossberg 500 and related shotguns.
