Remington Pre – Model 11 – 12 Ga – Browning A5 1st Year Production!

$1,999.00

For sale is a Remington Autoloading Shotgun Pre-Model 11 semi-automatic shotgun in 12 gauge. Serial number- 6790. This shotgun features a fixed full choke, 15" length of pull, and a 2 3/4" chamber. It is in absolutely beautiful condition with only a few minor dings in the stock/foregrip and the finish has turned into a beautiful patina. There does appear to me some pitting in the barrel but overall this shotgun looks amazing!

Originally designed but the famed Remington Model 11 also known as the Browning Auto 5 was America’s first autoloading shotgun and was offered in 12-gauge, 16-gauge, and 20-gauge models. It had good ergonomics, was hammerless, recoil-operated, used side ejection, and had a tube magazine. Its profile was fairly classic except for its slightly tall raised receiver profile. The Model 11 enjoyed a popular 42-year production run from 1905 to 1947 that accounted for 850,000 built. This is an extremely rare first year production of the famous Browning shotgun!!! In fact the shotgun was only coined the Model 11 name in 1911. This shotgun was before the Model 11 name and is a "Remington Autoloading Shotgun".
