For sale is a RIA Model 1903 bolt-action rifle in .30-06 SPRG. Serial number- 401117. This is a Rock Island M1903 that was originally manufactured sometime after 1920 and received an upgraded barrel in 1942. It is in beautiful condition with 99% of its parkerized finish still present. The M1903 Springfield, formally the United States Rifle, Caliber .30-06, Model 1903, is an American five-round magazine-fed, bolt-action service repeating rifle, used primarily during the first half of the 20th century. Rock Island manufactured 1903s in tandem with Springfield to arm US troops during WWI. After WWI the rifles received upgraded barrels produced just before or during WWII.
