Russian Military Surplus – 5.45x39mm – 53gr – Light Armor Piercing – 7N6 – 1080 Rounds Per Can. The 5.45×39mm 7N6 is a Soviet/Russian military-issue intermediate cartridge introduced in 1974. Its bullets are full-metal-jacket (FMJ) with a mild steel penetrator core (with a lead inlay and hollow point cavity) inside a boat-tail projectile. The cartridge uses a steel, lacquer-coated case with a Berdan primer.
