For sale is a Sako M39 bolt-action rifle in 7.62×54. Serial number – 507065. Mfg. 1943. This Finnish rifle is in beautiful condition as well as the bore! Import mark on the barrel states CAI ST. A. VT. This is an amazing example of a Finnish Mosin Nagant M39 issued to the Finnish Civil Guard in 1943. The M39 was an improvement over the other Finnish Mosin predecessors and is arguably their best design. The rifles made specifically for the Sk (Civil Guard) were all made at Sako between 1942 and 1944. Only 10,500 rifles form part of this contract and they can be identified by the letters "SkY" stamped over the serial number, as is the case with this example. This example has mostly mismatched Serial numbers and has the proper "SA" property mark.
