For sale is a Smith and Wesson 66 Border Patrol revolver in .357 Mag. Serial number- 7K52315. This revolver is in good condition and comes with the original wood case. Manufactured in 1974. The USBP Commemorative was the 2nd ever commemorative that was authorized by Smith and Wesson to be produced. The 1st was a Texas rangers, which was made of a blue steel. After someone noticed that it sitting for some time they rusted, they decided to go with stainless steel for the US Border Patrol 50th Anniversary Edition. It is unknown for sure, but there is believed to be a little over 3100 made. Note: the locking case is missing the key.
