For sale is a Smith & Wesson 34 revolver in .22 LR. Serial number – 44859. The Smith & Wesson Model 34 Kit Gun is a small, 6-shot, .22 Long Rifle, double-action revolver made by Smith & Wesson. It was designed to be easily packed in a hunting or fishing "kit" for small game hunting, plinking, pest control and self defense. Change from I frame to J frame authorized in Oct 1960 and beginning with serial # 70,000. All J-framed guns are stamped Model 34-1 or 35-1. This is a NO DASH I frame early model 34 with a pinned 2" Barrel and diamond grips. We believe it was MFG in 1960 shortly before the 34-1 designation change. There is some rusting under the grips so please see the photos.
