The +P stands for "Overpressure ammunition" which has been loaded to a higher internal pressure than is standard for ammunition for its caliber, but less than the pressures generated by a proof round. Features a pinned front sight, stainless steel barrel, one-piece aluminum alloy upper frame, ambidextrous cylinder release, and an ergonomic one-piece polymer grip.
